About Jay's School of Motoring

My name is Jay Mathias. I am a fully qualified Driving Instructor approved by the Driving Standards Agency.

I am patient, reliable and professional and welcome nervous pupils, EC and International drivers wanting to gain a UK licence and pupils of all ages. I pride myself on good quality, fun, safe driving tuition at affordable prices.

I offer 1 or 2 hour lessons with significant discounts for block bookings and students. I provide a gift voucher facility and a recommendation scheme. Lessons are tailored to the specific needs of each individual person on a one to one basis with no passengers carried.

I like to make my lessons fun and an enjoyable experience as I feel this is a key part of the learning process. This has enabled me to achieve a very high pass rate.

I am able to offer you lessons collecting you from your home, workplace or college, subject to prior arrangement. I provide in car training to help you pass your theory test including hazard perception training via a laptop. My aim is your goal - to enable you to pass your driving test first time.
